About
We kept saying “we should.”
ThePlanIsOn started with a batch of 2003 that spent four years agreeing to meet and never did. Not for lack of wanting. For lack of one place where the plan could be decided, written down and trusted.
Principles
Calm core,
expressive edge.
Inside the product, clarity earns trust. At the edges — invitations, flyers, the photos — the Plan gets to feel worth joining.
Private by default
The operational Plan is invite-only. Publishing one surface never exposes another. Nothing becomes public unless you make it so.
The organizer decides
Totals inform; a person confirms. The product never picks a date, and the assistant never acts alone.
No friction to say yes
An invitee can understand and respond with no account, no install. Joining is their choice, later.
Truthful states
Pending, delivered, failed. Never “sent” until it is. Never a green tick as the only signal.
Small on purpose
No ticketing, no payments, no marketplace, no task manager. One venue. One chat room. Things, not money.
Your apps, your message
We never send WhatsApp or SMS on your behalf. Sharing opens your own apps with the link ready.
The company
A small team building from real gatherings.
We’re organizing around the moments that make a gathering happen: a clear decision, a useful invitation, and a Plan people can trust.
Product
Start with the organizer’s real job: get a group from intention to a confirmed plan.
Engineering
Keep private planning dependable, explicit, and easy to recover when the signal is weak.
Design
Make the core calm and the invitation expressive enough to feel worth joining.
Care
Treat the people in every Plan as participants, not leads in a funnel.
Contact
Say hello.
Questions, press, a reunion you want to tell us about: hello@theplanison.app. We read everything.
Roadmap, honestly
What’s next, and what isn’t.
Next: a Roadtrip product for routes and shared expenses. Not planned: ticketing, public discovery, ads, or anything that makes a private gathering less private.
Your batch has been “meaning to.”
Make it a date. Free for groups up to 25.
