Terms of service

Last updated 1 September 2026 · Draft for legal review; not final.

These are the rules for using ThePlanIsOn. Short version: use it to plan real gatherings with people who want to be there, respect the people in your Plan, and don’t use it for anything unlawful.

1. The service

ThePlanIsOn provides private tools for planning group gatherings. It is not a ticketing, payment or messaging service.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a magic link or one-time code. Keep your email and phone number secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account.

3. Roles and responsibility

Owners and Co-organizers control what a Plan publishes and who is invited. Organizers are responsible for the content they publish and for obtaining consent where needed (for example, photographs of others).

4. Acceptable use

No harassment, unlawful content, or use of invitation links to spam people. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Your content

You own what you put in a Plan. You grant us the licence needed to store, display and deliver it to the people you choose. Removed members’ past messages remain part of the Plan’s record.

6. Pricing and billing

Free tiers stay free. Paid tiers are billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime; Plans become read-only after cancellation. Nobody you invite is ever charged.

7. Availability and liability

We aim for reliability but can’t promise uninterrupted service. The final version will set the applicable liability terms after legal review.

8. Governing law

The final version will identify the applicable jurisdiction and dispute-resolution process after legal review.
