ThePlanIsOn is deliberately small. Every feature below exists because a real group needed it to turn an idea into a gathering — and nothing is here because a dashboard looked empty.
Create
Prompt or form — you confirm.
Describe the gathering in a sentence and get a labelled, editable draft. Or fill the form. Both land on the same review with a change summary and one explicit “Create Plan.” The assistant never creates, publishes or messages on its own.
Decide
Availability that doesn’t pick for you.
Two to eight date options in the Plan’s timezone. Works / Maybe / Doesn’t work per person, named or signed-out. Totals inform; the organizer confirms. If a co-organizer changed something while you were deciding, you’re told — never silently overwritten.
Confirming closes availability and keeps all responses as history.
People
Roles that mean something.
Owner, Co-organizer, Participant, and signed-out Invitee. Named invitations and an unlisted link. Pending, responded, joined, declined, expired, revoked — all visible. RSVP and membership are separate on purpose: saying “I’ll come” never makes someone a member.

Coordinate
Everything a group needs between “yes” and the day.
Event details
One primary venue: name, written directions, optional link, contact, arrival notes. No maps, rooms or vendors.
Agenda
Ordered items with start, end, description and a location label. One day or several. Drag or keyboard to reorder.
Contributions
Requests for things and quantities. Participants commit, adjust or withdraw; organizers mark fulfilled. No money.
Official Updates
Numbered, immutable notices with author, time and delivery state. Corrections are new Updates. No comments.
Plan chat
One chronological room. Text and emoji reactions. Removed messages leave a tombstone. Organizers moderate but never edit your words.
Files & reminders
A flat, organizer-managed file list. One-off reminders tied to the Plan, an agenda item or a contribution — in-app and email.
Live
When it’s happening, the Plan becomes the guide.

Private gallery
Capture on mobile, drag-and-drop on desktop. Uploader attribution, own-photo removal, pending/synced/failed states. Members only, always.
Weak-signal mode
A persistent banner, the last-synced Plan still readable, uploads queued with real capture times, manual retry. No false “sent”.
Access
No passwords. No social login.
Email magic link or mobile one-time code. Clear expiry, resend and recovery states. Invitees don’t need any of it to respond.
Accessibility
Built to be operated, not just looked at.
Keyboard for everything, visible focus, text scaling, labelled controls, readable contrast, 44×44 touch targets. Status is never colour alone.
